Five Glorious Days Off

Five Days Off... so what am I doing? Already lamenting that it's half over. Wait -- it's only Friday - wow. Yesterday didn't sleep too late, had to go to the Dr. about my ear and then bank, cvs, library. Got a bagel and went home to eat and read paper. Also tried to clean up. Last night watched TV at Alan's. We went to Costco but I was just curious - nothing I needed or wanted (wow, that's a switch - he bought something and I didn't!!)

This morning up late and started cleaning and vacuuming. DUST !!! EVERYWHERE!!! and so many books and magazines it's painful.Literally painful since as soon as I start to clean and vacuum, my lower back starts to hurt and I have to sit down. I made a little progress but really all I'm doing is moving the stuff around.

I talked to a recruiter this morning who is interested in me for a recruiter position at his company.... a well known staffing firm. Since not everyone is willing to take a chance on someone w/ no recruiting experience, it's a good opportunity if they like me. As much as I think that my current job is now relatively easy, it is still a costly commute, and is really not where I want to spend eternity. So why not get off my duff and try something new??? I have absolutely nothing to lose and it's a way to try something interesting - I may or may not suck at it, but I want to make a change for 2007 so I might as well start now!
