Cubicle Hell

I think I should start an IT blog called Cubicle Hell... although I'm sure that's been used someplace before. Today started out much better since traffic was practically non-existent. Let's hear it for Fridays before a holiday!!!

My attempts at doing a work- only blog seems to fail since it's kind of boring. Today is busy although not as bad as earlier in the week. Mike is late, Kevin is out. the overnight guys went home, so it's just me, Max, Renee, Alex and Bill. Bill is filling in as he's a PC tech, not a phone rep. Also, our ticketing system, Clarify, is down. Vanessa had to call the Siemens help desk and she got INDIA!!! She says it's awful.... it's no fun being on the other side.

I also used to have a blog at Blogspot which I haven't updated in ages... I am boring enough, why have two blogs, especially when I'm not even sharing them with anyone???

I talked to Alan last night at around 11 PM... I told him over IM to call me.. he said he was going to, but who knows? I asked him when he was coming back and he said something like he'd be back sometime Saturday so he'd be around on Sunday... I took that to mean we will get together on Sunday... that's fine - I've gotten spoiled, seeing him on Saturdays but I try to remind myself that maybe he'd like a Saturday evening off - to just sit in his underwear on the sofa - and watch boxing or something! I have kind of taken over his weekends... I can't help it. I really enjoy his company and have done a complete turn around and now feel lonely when I'm home alone.... I HATE that.

Ok I'm probably repeating myself here. It was nice talking to him though... he laughed at a couple of my jokes and said that he should "call me more often"... I said I didn't feel I should have to apologize for wanting to talk to him and for telling him that I enjoy talking to him and seeing him.
