Home Sweet Home

This past long weekend, I spent a lot of time cocooning in my condo. I did go out Saturday and Sunday, but I still prefer being home, either sitting on the sofa or sitting at my computer. I just love being there - cozy under a blanket, or in bed reading, or just puttering and cleaning, which is what I'm usually doing. Now I understand Eric - he always said, his favorite thing about going out was staying home...

I had so much to do this weekend. Not sure I got half of it done, but I did manage to do laundry, review my taxes (still need to figure some cost basis out, but everything else is in good order), did some reading for class, cleaned up a bit (so many papers, so little time).

A typical weekend.
Friday night I did my "sermon in song" at the temple... as I expected, a rather small turnout. Saturday I had planned to just go to Borders for a book, then go to the gym, but I ran into Theresa and her aunt. We went to lunch, and then to the Liberty Tree Mall and I got some clothes at Marshalls after they left. We even went into the pet store... it was fun. I think that Theresa has some serious problems, and it's painful to listen to her, but I don't know what else to do. She truly thinks that the guys at work are tracking her or trailing her or something.... She has had work problems almost from day one and is totally paranoid... I would n't be so suspicious except that I remember the stories from when she lived in Cambridge and said that the guy upstairs was making her crazy with a sonar device and she started wearing a helmet lined with tinfoil or something!!! Hello??? Did she hear alien voices tooo???

Saturday night I stayed in, and was perfectly happy... I watched a movie and the Olympics pairs skating. Sunday I was up early, and that was when I went over my taxes, before leaving to go to Eden's. We went to IKEA. Long lines to get into the parking lot, but it was fun. Bought food mostly... just a few Tchokes.

Sunday night, stayed home, watched TV, emailed, messed around, the usual... what I do to kill time I can't say. Take out trash and papers, move piles around, file music, read the Sunday paper, do crosswords...

Monday morning Presidents Day Holiday!! Woke up early, and then the emergency pages started. Spent from about 10-11 working on that, had a long conversation with a woman about some job opportunities at Keane, so going to look into that.
