Last night went out and met folks from work at the 99 - one of their usual haunts. big bar and lots of TVs to watch the Red Sox disappoint us. I only went because Cheryl went - I am not all that friendly with Lisa, and not at all w/ Erin, who I was surprised stayed out w/out hubby.
The guys from work were John, James C, Chris, Rob and Mike, who left after the game. We proceeded to go to the City Club where I did Karaoke last time. Janet let us in. it is smoky, and full of older people, just sitting around relaxing... they are very friendly.
So everyone of course wanted me to get up and sing. Chris and I were the only ones who did last time. But Lisa and Erin got up and sang - they can't sing so great but they can move. Erin is very skinny, and Lisa is very plump. Chris and Janet also got up and sang a duet . Chris didn't know it very well, and Janet was a bit drunk and can't sing, so we were howling with laughter the whole time.
