long Time no Posting

Well, I haven't posted in awhile but I've been busy. July 10-14 I went to the North American Jewish Choral Festival, where I met a cousin I 'd never met, sang with a famous Israeli choral arranger, and met a choir conductor I'd seen on a PBS documentary. It was okay, but I've been there, done that before - sang in an instant ensemble with Eleanor Epstein from Wash.DC, and took some workshops and enjoyed evening performances by other choirs. It was nice to be on vacation. I got back on Thursday and had Friday off, but really didn't do much. On Saturday and Sunday I tried to do some cleaning and managed for the first time to really clean my bathrooms. A very exciting weekend...

Back to work yesterday and it has been slow. Our tickets are low, my boss is out on vacation, and I am trying to find things to do to keep busy. I am working on some documentation and handling problems more quickly, as well as reimaging some laptops and PCs. Nothing too challenging. I'm really not in the mood for challenging anymore.

Saw Eric over the weekend. Helped him bring a TV to his mother, who is so small and frail looking these days. Also went for a drive with him to Revere Beach and we looked at these amazing sand sculptures right at Punk's corner. I got a little teary eyed thinking about how we all used to hang out there - thinking about Judy, who is fighting cancer, and those fun times when we didn't have a care in the world, except which boys liked us. Well, I guess some things don't change.
